Hi! I’m Ty. I like to say that I’m just a painter. I paint whatever inspires me in the moment. Some days that means I’m painting kids cartoons on shoes, and other days that means I’m painting portraits. Everything that I do is inspired by love and I aim to spread that love through every piece that leaves my easel.

I started painting as a reprieve from studying in law school but eventually, painting and creating took over. I left law school in 2017 and have been painting ever since. Since then, I’ve been selected for ArtFields 4 times (2017, 2018, 2020, and 2024), participated in multiple group exhibitions around Charlotte, been the featured artist for Michelin Star restaurant Counter-, and so much more. It’s been a fun journey so far and I can’t wait to see where else it takes me!
